XONR8’s mission is to create interest and awareness about wrongful convictions in the legal community. XONR8 works closely with the California Innocence Project to gather students, professors, and lawyers to teach and learn about the causes of wrongful convictions.
XONR8 board members organize events including panelist meetings where practicing attorneys share their experience and expertise in criminal justice reform and wrongful convictions, screening films focused on wrongful convictions, and encouraging debates over current events regarding criminal justice reform and wrongful convictions.
In addition to events, XONR8 strives to organize networking opportunities for students and lawyers who share a common interest in criminal justice reform and wrongful convictions.
